Thailand: Quarantine Period Reduced from 14 to 7 days for Fully Vaccinated Travelers

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has announced that the quarantine period for fully vaccinated international travelers arriving in Thailand, including pilot reopening destinations through the Alternative Quarantine (AQ) system, is reduced from 14 to 7 days, starting from October 1, 2021.

 
In addition, as of October 1, 2021, fully vaccinated visitors under the "Sandbox" program in Phuket, Surat Thani (Ko Samui, Ko Pha-ngan and Ko Tao), Phang-Nga (Khao Lak and Ko Yao), and Krabi (Ko Phi Phi, Ko Ngai, and Railay) are now required to stay in the destination for 7 days only, after which they can continue their travel to other parts of Thailand.
