Forget about the saying “don’t play with your food” - for 1 and a half hour, enjoy the Nanta musical! Originally from South Korea, the Nanta Show is today known worldwide. Indeed, it is the very first Asian theatrical production to be presented on Broadway.

WHAT IS THE NANTA SHOW?

Nanta is a musical show whose central theme is cooking. Intrigued? Just wait to know more about it! First, the story: 4 cooks are in charge of preparing a wedding banquet. As you can imagine, not everything will go as planned... Then, the performance: the cooks performed with kitchen utensils as instruments, with bins as percussion, with broomsticks as accessories for dancing, and the rhythm of chopping the ingredients are well synchronized creating an energetic sound throughout the show.

Stimulate your zygomatic bone as you enjoy the Nanta show: whether you are 10 or 90 years old, this amazing performance will make you smile from ear to ear!

2. Participation

Bring out your acting talent in you: some spectators are invited to come on stage to participate in the show. If you are a foreigner, you are most likely to be chosen! You can play the rhythm on the stage and become a part of the show.

3. International

You do not speak a Korean word? Do not worry, this show is completely nonverbal. It's all about gestures, mimics and mimes - surpassing all language barriers!! The show can be enjoyed by people all over the world.

4. Intimate

The show is performed in small groups at the Myeongdong Nanta Theater located in the heart of Seoul. The 386 seats are arranged so the audience is as close to the stage as possible so that they can enjoy the performance unfolding in front of their very eyes, and there are specially designed walls so the audience can really experience the energy of the performance.
