Closing of the swimming pool at Victoria Resort Can Tho

Bangkok Airways 3 daily flights from Phnom Penh to Bangkok
Bangkok Airways has increased their services from Phnom Penh to Bangkok with a new afternoon flight adding up to a total of 3 flights per day.

Road from Sisophon to Siem Reap has been completed
The 105 km road from Sisophon (45 km from the border of Thailand) to Siem Reap has been upgraded and is now in good condition. It now takes 1½ hours to travel between those 2 towns.
Suspension of boat trips on the Mekong and on the Tonle Sap until August 9 due to the low water level
Please note that boat trips to the floating villages on the Mekong and Tonle Sap rivers may be suspended until August 9, 2009 due to the low water level. Likewise, the boats between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap will cease its operation during this period until the water level increases.
New attraction in Siem Reap
The Angkor Butterfly Centre is currently being built on the outskirts of Siem Reap and is expected to open in October 2009. The centre will help the poverty alleviation project, with rural families trained to breed and harvest butterflies.
