L’Amant cruises new schedule coming soon
The new schedule of L’Amant cruises valid from July 2010 up to April 2011 will be ready by mid-March for ITB.
New itineraries and 15 exclusive departures to Balua Archipelago are scheduled.

International visitors in Vietnam
The number of international visitors to Vietnam was estimated at 416,249 in January 2010. In total, the number of international visitors increased by 11.11 % as compared to January 2009.
Ho Chi Minh City launches a promotional campaign
Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just launched the promotional campaign “Exciting 100 Ho Chi Minh City”. The campaign is aiming to highlight the main attractions of Ho Chi Minh City and is listing out the preferred places and the charms of the town in 10 different categories.

Life Resort Danang is opening soon
From April 4, 2010, Life Resort Danang will open its doors with 175 spacious rooms, suites and 12 luxurious villas including sea view or garden view. The 4-star hotel will also feature a spa, a health club and a business centre. This beach front property is only 3 km from downtown Danang and 30 km from Hoi An.
The Mövenpick Hotel Saigon will close for renovation
The Mövenpick Hotel Saigon will close from March 8 until August 1, 2010 for extensive renovation.
Upgrading of the pool bar of Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort & Spa
The Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort & Spa will carryout upgrading works at the Faifo Bar from February 22 to March 31, 2010. During this period, guests will be able to enjoy the beach bar located at the other side of the beach. Construction works will take place daily from 7am to 7pm. Noisy works will start only after 9am and will end before 5pm.
Muong Thanh Hotel - Dien Bien is closed for renovation
Since February and up to June 2010, the Muong Than Hotel is closed for renovation. The hotel will be upgraded into a four-star hotel featuring 140 rooms, a massage centre, a tennis court, a swimming pool, a fitness centre, a meeting room for 500 people and a restaurant with 600 seats.

Closure of Thandwe Ngapali Airport
The Thandwe-Ngapali Airport will be closed on certain days until April 23, 2010.

New Restaurant opened in Bagan
The Queen House Bagan Restaurant is located closed to the five-side stupa and the Dhammayazika Pagoda and can accommodate up to 100 persons under the shady tamarind tree. The restaurant has also a dining room for up to 50 persons and 12 seats terrace up-stair. This new restaurant serves traditional and Chinese cuisines and proposes a daily cultural show at 7:30 pm.

Big boats cannot cruise from Houeisay to Pakbeng
TAs the level of water of the Mekong River is low, speed boats are currently the better solution to reach Pakbeng from Houeisay at the border of Thailand.
Big boats can only cruise from Pakbeng to Luang Prabang until further notice.
